From the reconstruction of the laboratory to Deepwater Horizon

Cedre's laboratory devoted to physico-chemical testing, a vital organ in the fulfilment of its duties, was operational once again in April.

An assistance assignment was conducted for the authorities in Madagascar at the end of shoreline clean-up operations following the sinking of the Gülser Ana.

The Deepwater Horizon rig blow-out in the Gulf of Mexico resulted in the release of an estimated 800,000 m3 of crude oil over a 3-month period, making it one of the worst disasters of all time. Cedre was in great demand by the French and foreign media to provide technical elements on the spill response operations and took part in several on-site observation.
