2017
Following internal changes and assignments
2017 was marked by the return to a good level of service provision for public and private organisations based both in France and abroad, notably with the acquisition of new clients. These services were mainly centred on oil, but we are also aware of continually growing interest in chemicals, litter and micro-plastics.
Emergency response personnel were deployed on-site on five occasions following oil spills: twice in inland waters in mainland France (leak from a tank of fioul oil in the Jura and oil spill from a refinery of Seine-et-Marne) and once in Greece (sinking of the tanker Agia Zoni II), as part of the Mediterranean Assistance Unit set up by the contracting parties to the Barcelona Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment.
In terms of internal organisation, the scheduled changes in Cedre's staff continued with a similar number of retirements.
The positive result achieved in 2017 is due to the production activity which is a good indicator of the quality of the services provided by Cedre.
