A prestigious award

This year Cedre's actions in terms of response to environmental emergencies received special recognition. The association was given a Green Star Award, a joint initiative by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian affairs (OCHA) and Green Cross International. It rewards the work conducted by Cedre for several years to support international assistance missions, and in particular its work in Bangladesh in 2014/2015. This prestigious award, attributed once every two years since 2009, has fuelled our team's desire to pursue our action and provide an ever better quality of service.

Once the major international assistance mission in Bangladesh in which Cedre was involved had drawn to a close, we sent our agents out to six different small-scale spills, mainly in the Brest area.

Cedre's total budget was €4,688,866, a 7.15 % drop from 2014. This decline was due in particular to the drop in oil prices and the slump in activity it has led to across the sector.
