Using dispersant to treat oil slicks at sea - Airborne and shipborne treatment

This guide replaces two others entitled "Manual for treating slicks with dispersants sprayed from surface vessels" and "Manual for treating slicks with dispersants sprayed from airborne assets" dating back to 1987 and 1991 respectively. We update our publications in the light of how techniques, technology and knowledge have developed, in a more operational format. The 2015 update is available in French only, translation is in progress.

It has become apparent for Cedre experts and the organisations we cooperate with that there is currently a need to update our publications in the light of how techniques, technology and knowledge have developed, presenting the information in a more operational format for the purposes of response.
