Participation in the annual EAERE conference

From 1st to 4th July, Ms Aanchal Jain, a PhD student in economics who is currently working on her thesis with Cedre and UMR AMURE, was in Belgium to present the results of her research at the 29th annual conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE).
As part of her doctoral work, Ms Jain is working on the development of economic tools for analysing the ecological, economic and public policy consequences of marine litter.
During this conference, Ms Jain presented the model she has developed for identifying the economic activities which generate litter in French marine waters.
The conference was also the chance for her to talk to other economists and legal specialists working on environmental economic modelling, thus opening up new collaboration opportunities.
