Ordech project

8 to 12 July 2024

At the beginning of July, Cedre visited the premises of the Parc Naturel Marin de l’Estuaire de la Gironde et Mer des Pertuis (PNMEGMP) within the framework of the ORDECH project, to organise a participatory workshop on the issue of shoreline litter.

Several local stakeholders took part in this afternoon-long workshop, working together to discover the litter found on the shoreline and trace it back to its source.

Thanks to their knowledge and expertise in their fields, the workshop results will help to fine-tune the analysis carried out at the scale of the marine nature park.

As a reminder, the OFB-funded ORDECH project aims to improve knowledge of the origin and source activities for litter found within 4 marine nature parks.

The aim is to enhance knowledge of the different types of litter, its origins and the environmental and anthropogenic factors influencing its presence in the environment.
