Visit from Bureau Veritas

On 9 July, Cedre received a visit from six representatives of Bureau Veritas. This meeting, held at Cedre’s premises in Brest, was an opportunity for the Bureau Veritas representatives to present the group's activities relating to spill response and to outline the current challenges, particularly those relating to alternative fuels.
A tour of the facilities was organised, offering insight into the wide range and high level of research activities conducted by Cedre, in particular its essential role in conducting experimental trials as part of the ARISE project which aims to define the risks and behaviour of refrigerated liquid ammonia when spilt at sea.
