Training course for SDMIS 69

In April, Cedre ran a practical training session for the Rhône fire and rescue service (SDMIS 69) on spill response in inland waters. During this course, with sessions both at Cedre's facilities and in the natural environment, the trainees were confronted with realistic situations. During the practical exercises, they got to grips with various types of spill response equipment on light and heavy oils and learned about the specificities and constraints of its use. The aim of this session was to bolster the operational preparedness of teams in case of a spill, by training them in the use of response equipment and the development of a response strategy according to the context.
