Testing the IADYS Jellyfishbot Expert

As part of its programme to evaluate spill response equipment and techniques for use at sea and on the shoreline, Cedre carried out trials in its test tanks on the new "Expert" model of IADYS’s unmanned surface vehicle, Jellyfishbot.
Following a series of tests previously carried out in 2023, the manufacturer made a number of alterations to this floating robot. The aim of the 2024 trials was to validate the effectiveness of these modifications, particularly in terms of its boom towing and oil collection capacities (“Expert Mobile Oil Skimmer" model).
