TREASURE project

In January, Cedre carried out various actions for the TREASURE project. Recovery equipment trials were carried out from 12 to 15 January on floating litter typically found in port areas and on plastic pellets. Cedre then visited the Cherbourg harbour master's office from 28 to 30 January to assess the pollution in the harbour and to talk to local stakeholders (DDTM, Ports de Normandie, fishing and pleasure boating concessions, maritime college, inter-municipal cooperation body) in order to identify actions to reduce floating macro-litter.
