Grand African NEMO exercise
3 to 6 June 2024
From 3 to 6 June, Cedre was in Yaoundé, Cameroon to take part in the main planning conference for the GANO 2024 exercise.
GANO 2024 is an operational cooperation exercise which aims to improve maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea. It is scheduled to take place from 4 to 11 November 2024.
It will focus on operations to combat illicit trafficking, piracy, illegal migration, pollution, etc.
Given the clear interest shown by the Member States of the Yaoundé Architecture in spill response, Cedre is fully committed to supporting them during the exercise planning phase and its implementation.
