Free LitterAT project: visit to the Landes area

From 22 to 25 March, Cedre was in the Landes area of France as part of the  Interreg Free LitterAT project, to discuss the organisation of a pilot action to clean up an area of accumulated litter on the coastline. In collaboration with the Syndicat Mixte du Littoral Landais, Cedre met with local stakeholders (Moliets-et-Maa municipality, Courant d’Huchet national nature reserve) to present the project and conducted field visits to identify areas of interest and assess the level of litter present.  Further discussions are planned for the near future in order to pursue this initiative, which will contribute to the production of technical resources to support local authorities in cleaning areas of accumulated litter on the coastline.
