Chemical dispersion system tests

Cedre has conducted a series of tests on two dispersant spray arm systems. These tests follow on from an initial series of tests carried out in 2022 and 2023 on single-point nozzle spray systems.
These tests, conducted with water (low viscosity) and dispersant (high viscosity), aimed to characterise the homogeneity of the volumes sprayed on the ground, as well as the size of the droplets present in the plumes. The advantages and limitations of each system were correlated with the recommendations on chemical dispersant use.
