Cedre/OFB partnership renewal

20 September 2024

In early September, Cedre and OFB renewed their cooperation agreement, extending it until the end of 2025. Through this agreement, the two organisations intend to continue to share their skills and knowledge in order to carry out relevant, operational monitoring and to continue to assess the ecological status of marine waters at the scale of marine protected areas.

Within this framework, on 20 September Cedre organised a half-day of discussions, attended by OFB agents, notably from marine nature parks, and several operators of monitoring networks that are active within areas covered by the parks.

This event provided an opportunity to present the assessment work conducted by Cedre on shoreline pollution in the marine nature parks, to discuss their contribution to the various monitoring networks coordinated by Cedre, as well as to present Cedre's spill response training actions in the ports of the various parks.
