Cedre/CEREMA partnership

The first steering committee meeting for the scientific and technical cooperation framework agreement between Cedre and CEREMA was held on 3rd February. Discussions between the two centres focused on the actions in place in two key areas:
- Litter prevention and management (macro-litter and micro-plastics) in natural environments, including coastal areas, ports, urban networks and watercourses.
- Pollution risks related to wind farms.
An update was also given on the progress of the Interreg project TREASURE (reduction of plastic outflow into the North Sea), in which Cedre and CEREMA are involved alongside 13 other European partners.
