ANR Mic Giver project: midway meeting

23 and 24 October 2024

In October, Cedre travelled to Gif-sur-Yvette to attend a meeting for the ANR Mic GIVER project held at ICSN.

This project, launched in 2022, aims to identify strains of fungi capable of breaking down different types of pollutants (hydrocarbons, glyphosate, picric acid) and producing surfactants of potential interest for pollution response.

At this meeting, each partner presented the progress made over the last six months and was able to explore the facilities at ICSN, the partner responsible for large-scale production of the surfactant compounds isolated and identified by the other teams.

This midway meeting was followed by the annual meeting of the advisory board, made up of representatives from TotalEnergiesSTEPANEnglobeBiotech Santé BretagnePôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique and a representatives of the United Nations.
