The MIGR’HYCAR project focuses on the operational risk management of oil spill drifts in continental waters. It aims to achieve three main outcomes:

  • development of a web-based database on the physical and chemical behaviour of oil slicks
  • development of numerical deterministic  oil slick monitoring software
  • development of operational decision-making and water resource management aid software for emergency situations.
