Visit to the wastewater treatment plant in the Port of Brest

On 15 March, Cedre was given a tour of the wastewater treatment plant located in the Port of Brest by Eau du Ponant. This facility treats wastewater from 170,000 population equivalents.
During this visit, Cedre presented its activities, as well as its work on anaerobic digestion and plastic litter in urban networks.
The tour of the facilities then provided insight into the issues related to the running of a wastewater treatment plant and to identify collaboration opportunities with Eau du Ponant, particularly in relation to the reduction of plastic pollution.
