This meeting brought together about 80 participants from 21 to 22 February.
The aim of this meeting was to inventory user needs in relation to the acquisition and knowledge of surface currents on a global scale from embedded sensors on satellites.
Cedre gave a presentation on the use of ocean data for tracking and modelling oil slick drift at sea. This presentation provided the audience with a better understanding of the data and models available on a global scale and the opportunity to talk to other users and modellers.
